Cynthia Belouin: Speech Language Pathologist, Royalton

Cyndi has worked for this SU for 18 years, in all five of the former OWSU schools and preschools. Prior to 2004, Cyndi worked as an SLP and Early Childhood Program Director in Windsor Southeast SU for 16 years.  Her first job in Vermont was working as a preschool special education teacher/Director of a Developmental Center for children with significant challenges. She grew up in western Massachusetts, moved to Vermont in the 1980’s, and  graduated with her Masters from UVM in 1988. Cyndi lives in South Royalton. She has two grown daughters who graduated from South Royalton High School. When not at school, she enjoys spending time with her six grandchildren, playing in her gardens, and relaxing at her hilltop cabin in Tunbridge. BaDawna Gallipo: Clara Martin School-Based Clinician, Royalton

BaDawna has called Vermont her home all her life.  One would say that she has generational roots in the Green Mountain State. BaDawna was offered the opportunity to be a part of WRVSU by Clara Martin Center in 2021 as the School Based Clinician.  She fully enjoys the welcoming community here at WRVSU.  She received her Bachelors of Social Work from Castleton University and her Masters of Social Work from University of New England.  I have been a part of the Social Work field since 2009 focusing on loving her career that has been primarily focused on supporting children and their families.  She enjoys spending time with her family, and her several pets!  BaDawna also enjoys teaching herself the art of stained glass, creative writing, and well anything that is artistic!  You can reach her at bgallipo@wrvsu.org or bgallipo@claramartin.org.

Ashley Grote: Coordinator of Student Services

Ashley joined White River Valley School in 2020 as Coordinator of Student Services and works across both Bethel and Royalton campuses with all grade levels. Ashley has over 13 year of experience in both public and independent education and administration. She has a passion for education and advocacy, and prides herself in her continuous professional learning achievements. Shane Oakes: Student Support Coordinator

Shane has worked as the Student Support Coordinator at the South Royalton Campus since 2019.  He has over 20 years of experience in the field of education and supporting students and families.  A husband and father to two girls, he enjoys spending time with family as well as canoeing, basketball, golf and running. Linda Dean Orr: Speech-Language Pathologist, Bethel

Linda enjoys working with all of our students to improve speech, language and written language skills from preschool through eighth grade. She has worked in the district since 1977 in Bethel, Stockbridge, and Rochester schools. She even worked in the one-room schoolhouse in Granville and the two-room schoolhouse in Hancock when she first started working in this district. You can reach Linda at ldeanorr@wrvsu.org.

Jenna Ostrowski: Occupational Therapy Assistant

Jenna started working at WRVSU in 2018 as a COTA/L. She completed her education at River Valley Community College. During one of her fieldwork experiences, she worked in an elementary school based setting when she decided that elementary school was the setting she wanted to practice in as a COTA. She currently travels between five schools in the district working with grades (prek-eighth). During her free time she enjoys spending time with her family and husband, going hiking and cooking. Katherine Roe: Speech Language Pathologist Assistant, Royalton

Katherine joined the WRVSU in 2008 as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant.  She visits five schools within the district, including South Royalton. Jesse Dewey, Special Educator & 504 Coordinator, WRVMS

Jesse started working at WRVMS in 2022.  She is the 7th and 8th grade Special Educator/504 Coordinator.  Jesse has been working in Special Education for the past 14 years.  She lives in Randolph with her daughter, Leanna, and their dog, Emma.  Jesse is always looking to travel and go on adventures.  When she's not at school she can be found reading, playing softball, or spending time with her family.  You can reach Jesse atjdewey@wrvsu.org

Emily Finn: Occupational Therapist
Emily Finn

Emily enjoys working with students of all ages to improve their participation in school and success in the school environment. She is new to the WRVSU team and is excited to provide OT services in Bethel, Stockbridge, and Rochester. Emily is originally from a small town in upstate New York and enjoys hiking and skiing. In 2019, Emily graduated from St. Bonaventure University with her Bachelors in Health Science and she received her Masters in Occupational Therapy from Utica College in 2021. In her free time, you will find Emily visiting local coffee shops, spending time with friends, and going on walks with her puppy, Arlo. You can reach Emily at efinn@wrvsu.org.

Sandy Tracy: Student Support Coordinator

Sandy has worked as a Student Support Coordinator for the White River Valley School since 2019. She recently began working across both elementary campuses supporting students and families. Sandy enjoys building relationships, making community connections, and really good jokes.
