Dj Craven: Varsity Boys Basketball Coach
coach with this family

Hello, my name is Coach Craven. I coach the varsity boys basketball team. I am an alumni of Whitcomb High school where I played all 3 sports; soccer, basketball and baseball. I moved to South Royalton with my wife Kirby and family around 12 years ago. I have 4 boys; 2 of which graduated from White river Valley. I also have a junior and a second grader. Basketball is probably my favorite thing to do, watch and be around besides my family. I started coaching when my 2 oldest boys were in 3rd grade and coached all the way up through till varsity. Basketball is a staple in our house hold. Let’s Go Cats!! I can be reached at  lCraven@wrvsu.org

I have always lived in the area except for the 4 years that I was in the Army. While in the Army I was stationed at Ft. Riley, Kansas and Camp Castle, South Korea. After leaving the military, I worked in construction for a few years before starting my own construction/excavation business. I enjoy baseball, basketball, hunting and spending time with my family.
