A letter from Principal Bradley

Dear Parents, Guardians, Students & Community Members

Welcome to the White River Valley Middle School webpage. We are a grade six through eight middle school. I am proud to be the educational leader of the WRVMS. We believe in collaboration and that all partners are equally valuable in the success of our school.

We serve the towns of Bethel and South Royalton and several school choice towns. We average 50+/- students per grade level. We have two teams of 75 students, the Mighty Oaks and the Sugar Maples. We have built our school on the concepts of safety and belonging. These fit nicely with our school district behavior expectations of: Respect-Responsibility-Safety-Kindness

Our multi-tiered system of support, MTSS is a framework that is used throughout our PK-12 school and it unifies educational opportunities and supports in an effort to improve outcomes and ensure equity for all students. Through our use of data-informed decision-making, we are able to ensure a culture of continuous improvement that focuses on meeting the academic, behavioral, social and emotional needs of all of our students.  We also employ our school-wide expectations of Respectful, Responsible, Safe, and Kind behaviors from everyone in our school community. These expectations create the foundation and learning environment for the social, emotional, and academic success of all students.

We encourage all of our parents, and community members, to be active partners in our school. We know that learning happens everywhere and all the time.  We want to hear from you on what you can do to help us to carry out our mission.

As the White River Valley Middle School Principal, I am excited to work with all of our community members and most especially our families to make sure every student has the most high quality educational experience possible.
