Ariel grew up in the Royalton area and began working for WRVSU in 2021 as a Special Education Para-Educator. She currently resides in South Royalton with her husband and 3 children. In her free time she enjoys animals, gardening and being outdoors. She can be reached at acolson@wrvsu.org.

Gloria joined WRUD in 2002 as a special education paraeducator. I have worked with many children over the past 20 years. I have lived here in South Royalton all my life. I have made this town my home with my husband Jim. Together we have raised  4 wonderful children. Janet Turner: Paraeducator, Royalton

Janet has been working at South Royalton since 2016. She has an A.S. in early childhood education and has been in the field for over 40 years. She is originally from Massachusetts and Maine but now calls Vermont home. She enjoys outside time with her family, especially her granddaughters. Ashley Rogers: Paraeducator, Royalton

Ashley works at South Royalton as a Kindergarten paraprofessional. She spent ten years working for the Sharon Health Center before wishing to return to the school setting. She is active in 4-H with her 7 year old daughter Hattie and looking forward to showing Hattie’s calf. Her seven year old daughter attends Tunbridge Central School. She loves spending time outside, watching sports, and being with her family.

Heather Harvey-Gibson: Special Educator, Bethel

Heather began working for the Windsor Northwest Supervisory Union in 1996. She was a Paraeducator for 2 years at Bethel Elementary School, and then she was hired to work with high school students for the next 3 years at Whitcomb High School. She loved this! The special educator at Bethel Elementary School was retiring, so Heather was hired to be the replacement, and she has maintained this position ever since!

Heather lives in Stockbridge, VT with her husband Luke, her daughter Madelyn, and their sweet dog, Ryder. In her spare time, you can find Heather walking with her dog on the many trails on their property, running on the dirt roads near her home, or really doing anything outside! Hello, I'm Miss Abbiey! I love ferrets, I have one named Jax! He is going to be 4 next year! I am a very outgoing, spunky, loving and caring person! I used to be a first responder in CT! I moved up to Vermont just about 3 years ago! I love seeing smiles on faces and if you are feeling down I will do ANYTHING to bring a smile to your face! I love helping out any which way I can! I am 26 years young! I do not have any physical kids but one in heaven! My favorite month is October! I love the fall and the winter! I am very protective, and very empathetic! I like to get stuff done but yet have fun!
